Te Whau Lodge is the inspiration of New Zealanders, Liz Eglinton and Gene O'Neill, who both abandoned corporate life in Auckland to establish the Lodge. Now total converts to island life, they will be on hand to host you at their boutique retreat where you can do as little or as much as you want.

We have been fortunate to have enjoyed some superb trips to France with great company to join us on our annual excursions.
The memories of our travels combined with memorable culinary experiences continue to provide inspiration for Gene as he plans menus back at the Lodge.
