The Table at Te Whau Lodge
Gourmet cuisine, splendid wine and lively conversations are the keystones of the Te Whau Lodge experience. A passionate cook, Gene takes pride in using the freshest local produce and changes his set dish daily to suit the season and to cater for individual dietary requirements. The Lodge’s gardens are the source of our fresh herbs and many of our seasonal vegetables.
Breakfast served at your convenience, is a feast in its own right – an elegant full gourmet breakfast with a twist, as is the Te Whau Lodge style.
In the evenings, guests are invited to gather in the guest lounge (or on the deck, in summer) for canapés. The selections change daily and are matched with Waiheke wine. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, a casual two-course plat du jour meal is offered. (Sorry but we don't serve dinners on public holidays - canapés only on these evenings)
Meals are served dinner-party style around the large lodge dining table with the dish of the day changing daily and enjoyed by an ever changing mix of guests. Please note that dinner must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance. Wine with dinner is additional and Te Whau Lodge is fully-licensed with a wide selection of mostly Waiheke wine. Cost for lodge guests - $60 per person (excluding wine).
